Netscape 3 Setup





  1. Click on Options


  2. Click on General




  3. Click on the Appearance tab.


  4. At the bottom in the Home page location field, type in http://www.nni.com




  5. Click on OK


  6. Click on the Options menu.


  7. Then click on Mail and News Preferences


  8. Click on the Servers tab


  9. In the Outgoing mail field, type in smtp.nni.com


  10. ** Very Important **

    If your username starts with A - F,
    in the Incoming Mail (POP) Server field type in mail1.nni.com

    If your username starts with G - M,
    in the Incoming Mail (POP) Server field type in mail2.nni.com

    If your username starts with N - S,
    in the Incoming Mail (POP) Server field type in mail3.nni.com

    If your username starts with T - Z,
    in the Incoming Mail (POP) Server field type in mail4.nni.com

  11. In the POP User ID field, type in your username.


  12. In the News Server field, type in news.nni.com

  13. Click on the Identity tab




  14. In the Your name field, type in your name. (When you send someone an email, this name lets the person know who your email is from.)


  15. In the Your Email field, type in your email address. (for example, johndoe@nni.com


  16. In the Reply-to address field, type in your email address.


  17. Click on OK


  18. Click on the Options menu, then click on Network Preferences


  19. Click on Proxies tab




  20. Make sure that No Proxies is checked


  21. Click on OK
