PPP Settings

  1. Click the Apple at the top left hand corner of your screen. Then highlight Control Panels and click on PPP.

  2. Registered User must be selected
  3. In the Name: field should be your username.
  4. In the Password: should be your password. (If you would like to save your password, save password should have a checkmark.)
  5. In the Number: field should be the local access number.

  6. Click Options...
  7. Click Protocol

  8. Allow error correction and compression in modem and also Use TCP header compression should have a checkmark next to it.
  9. Click Connection

  10. Connect automatically when starting TCP/IP applications should be selected
  11. Click Ok
  12. Close PPP, saving changes if prompted
