PPP Setup

  1. Click the Apple menu. (It is located at the top left hand corner of your screen.)
  2. Highlight Control Panels

  3. Click PPP

  4. Registered User must be selected
  5. In the Name: field, type in your username.
  6. In the Password: field, type in your password. (Make sure you type your username and password in all lower case letters with no spaces.)
  7. If you would like to save your password, click on the box next to Save password.
  8. In the Number: field, type in the local access number. Please be sure to check that this is a local call for you. nni.com assumes NO responsibility for any long distance charges that you may incur in the use of any access number

  9. Click Options...
  10. Click Protocol

  11. Allow error correction and compression in modem should be selected
  12. Use TCP header compression should be selected
  13. Click on Connection

  14. Connect automatically when starting TCP/IP applications should be selected.
  15. Click Ok
  16. Close PPP, and click on save changes if prompted.
  17. PPP is now setup for nni.com
