Config PPP Setup

  1. Click the Apple menu. (It is located at the top left hand corner of your screen.)
  2. Go to Control Panels
  3. Click Config PPP

  4. Your Config PPP Control Panel should appear as above
  5. Click Config

  6. In the PPP Server Name: field, type in nni.com
  7. Port Speed should be set to 57600
  8. (If you are using a slower modem, please set this to the appropriate speed)
  9. Flow Control: should be set to CTS & RTS (DTR)
  10. The appropriate dial selection should be selected
  11. In the Phone num field, type in the local access number. Please be sure to check that this is a local call for you. nni.com assumes NO responsibility for any long distance charges that you may incur in the use of any access number

  12. The Modem init field should contain the appropriate modem init string for your modem. (In most cases AT&F will work if your not sure.)
  13. Click Connect Script

  14. Your Connect script should look the same as the above picture
  15. Be sure to replace username and password with your correct username and password. (The username and password should be in all lower case letters with no spaces.)
  16. Click OK
  17. Click Done
  18. Close Config PPP, and click on save changes if prompted.
