Outlook Express 5.0 Settings

  1. Open Outlook Express 5
    2.  
  2. Click Tools
    3.  
  3. Click Accounts

  4. Click the Mail tab
    5.  
  5. Highlight the pop3.nni.com account
    6.  
  6. Click Properties

  7. The Mail Account field should read pop3.nni.com
    8.  
  8. The Name: field should contain your name
    9.  
  9. The E-mail address: field should contain your e-mail address
    10.  
  10. Be sure Include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing is checked
    11.  
  11. Click Servers

  12. Under Server Information it should say "My incoming mail server is a POP3 server.

  13. The Incoming mail (POP3) field should read pop3.nni.com

  14. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP): field it should read smtp.nni.com

  15. The Account name: field should contain your user name. (for example jsmith. The user name and password should be all lower case letters with no spaces.)

  16. The Password: field should contain your password

  17. Save Password should be selected
    18.  
  18. Click on Connection

  19. Always connect the this account using: should be selected
    20.  
  20. nni.com should be selected

  21. Be sure that your screen has the same selections made as the above screen

  22. Click Apply. Then click on OK.

  24. Click on the Tools menu then click on Options.

  25. Click on the connection tab
