Dial-up Networking Setup

  1. Double click My Computer
  2. Double click Dial-Up Networking
  3. Double click Make New Connection

  4. In the Type a name for the computer you are dialing: field, type in NuNet
  5. Click Next

  6. In the area code, make sure it is blank. In the Telephone number: field, type in the area code and the local access number. Please be sure to check that this is a local call for you. NuNet assumes NO responsibility for any long distance charges that you may incur in the use of any access number.

  7. Click Next
  8. Click Finish
  9. Right click on the NuNet icon
  10. Click on Properties

  11. Click on Server Types

  12. Be sure that all settings are selected as above
  13. Click on the TCP/IP Settings... button

  14. Be sure all settings and information reads as above
  15. Click OK
  16. Right click on the NuNet icon

  17. Click on Create Shortcut

  18. Click Yes

  19. You will now have a shortcut for NuNet.
