Netscape 4.5 - 4.7 Setup

1. Open Netscape Communicator
2. Click on the Edit menu then click on Preferences.



3. On the left hand side click on Navigator.



4. On the left hand side just under the Navigator section click on Home page.
5. In the Location: field type http://www.nni.com
6. Click the + in front of Mail & Newsgroups
7. On the left hand side under Mail & Newsgroups click on Identity.



8. In the Your name: field type your name
9. In the Email address: field type your email address, ie, jsmith@nni.com
10. Click Mail Servers



11. If there is anything listed under Incoming Mail Servers click on what is there, then click on Remove.
12. Click on Add.



13. In the Server Name field type in pop3.nni.com
14. In the Server Type field select POP3.
15. Select Remember password.
16. Click on OK.
17. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: field type in smtp.nni.com
18. In the Outgoing mail server user name: field type in your username, ie. jsmith
19. Be sure Never is selected under User Secure Socket Layer(SSL) or TLS for outgoing messages:
20. On the left hand side click on Newsgroup Servers



21. If anything is in the box under "Newsgroup Servers", click on what is listed then click on remove.
22. click on the Add button.



23. In the Server field type in news.nni.com. then click on OK.
24. On the left hand side click on the + next to Advanced. Then click on Proxies.



25. Make sure it is selected for Direct connection to the Internet.
26. Click OK
